Environmental Sustainability Pledge and Policy

Pupdrobe is committed to having a positive environmental impact and as such we actively pursue, and are committed to, finding ways in which we can improve and grow to help reduce and neutralise the environmental impact of our work, products and mission.

It is our policy to:

Thoroughly research not only the production but also the methods of responsible reuse / recycling or disposal of all of the components and materials used within our business.

Responsibly gather information to make sure disposal of all materials and products is handled in the best way possible. It is our goal to make all decisions environmentally responsible.

Innovate ideas and methods to reuse waste materials which otherwise can not sustainably or environmentally responsibly be recycled or disposed of.

Partner and educate for change. It is our mission to provide information on our website and throughout communication with our customers, suppliers and others, to help educate and communicate best practices and the most up to date information around recycling our products and products we consume during the course of our trading business; as well as helping to spread the message of sensible and responsible consumption.

Provide Clarity about our goals, ideals and views around the environmental sustainability of Pupdrobe.

Consciously choose materials, businesses and practices that limit our consumption as a business, provide a responsible recycling or reusing disposal facility, align with our mission and environmental policy and help to neutralise our environmental impact in all areas of our business. We choose suppliers for our components, materials, printing, stickers, packaging and shipping who align with the high environmental sustainability standards we have set. Some of the policies we look for include:

  • Thorough and committed ethical environmental sustainability policy.

  • Commitment to operating in a responsible and sustainable manner.

  • Wood and wood product sourcing Adhere to BS EN 13986, BS EN 622-5 and FSC® certified  and E1 emissions compliant. Paper sourced is biodegradable, recyclable and the raw material is sourced from carefully managed European renewable resources from sustainable forests where more trees are planted for the future than are felled each year.

  • Active waste recycling scheme to ensure all waste materials are either reused or recycled.

  • Water based inks are used in printing processes.

  • The films used are completely recyclable, if incinerated no toxic gases are emitted and if disposed of in a landfill they are completely ground water neutral.

  • Continued searching for new, environmentally friendly materials and actively implementing and utilising these materials as and when they become available.

Our commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals
